Answer : it was a prototype for a cine camera done by Carpentier for Lumière in 1900.
It was designed for huge projection during the universal exhibition.
However, they were never used.
One of us bought this "chassis" with a "Jumelle Carpentier". However, it not fits with the Jumelle.
